A highly convenient procedure for the hydrolysis of terminal phenyl vinyl sulfides
Terminal vinyl and chlorovinyl sulfides are hydrolyzed by 70% perchloric acid-thiophenol in benzene to the corresponding diphenyl thioacetals and thioesters in good yields. © 1983.
