總結:In the Obtober 1997 issue of Nanyang Chronicle, it was hightlighted that NTU president Dr Cham Tao Soon was supportive of setting up a NTU village, like Holland Village. Many students had also complained that there was a lack of fine dining places in the campus. For those staying in the hostels, many found that life was very mundane after classes ended. The main objectives of our study were to determine the receptivity among the student population and the feasibility of setting up a pub/cafe in NTU's Yunnan Garden Campus. The methodology for our study included a pilot study, a survey conducted on the undergraduate population and interviews with managers of similar establishments.
