This presentation will discuss the design and implementation of a persuasive speaking course at Mahidol University International College. The original design was based on the need to offer advanced speaking skills courses and to teach debate at a university level. The course has since evolved to incorporate the use of basic psychology and audience analysis to increase the persuasiveness of speakers regarding questions of fact, policy and value.
