| الملخص: | The demands for elderly care have been on the rise with the rapid increase in ageing population. It is essential to develop intelligent elderly care to meet specific healthcare needs of individuals. This project aims to build a low cost and efficient monitoring system that leverages on the state-of–art technology in the indoor positioning system.
In this paper, the design system for indoor tracking will be unveiled. This system is implemented using the Arduino microcontroller, XBee shield and XBee modules together with trilateration estimation method. The accuracy of the system is also discussed based on the estimation method used. Next, a graphical user interface for the monitoring system has been developed to display the estimated tag location. Test was conducted to test the functionality of this system. |
