الملخص: | The study aimed to analyze the geometrical properties of the retina through Gaussian maps and FEA, processed from existing ultrawide SS OCT scans of the retina. The Gaussian maps provide curvature distribution of the retina, which is compared with the axial length and sphere of the eye. The analysis revealed a weak correlation with individual parameters, and with a calculated risk value. Using FEA, a generic eye model and a retinal scan are analyzed to evaluate the stress and strain acting on the retina. The results of the FEA show that it could be possible to evaluate the retinal scans using the general eye model as a reference. Overall, the study has potential for a fully integrated throughput to obtain information on the curvature of the retina and risk posed to the retina. |
