This research is aim to: Assessing the understanding and public perception of Tri Hita Karana concept in settlements in Housing Monang Maning, (2) To analyze the level of community participation in socio-cultural activities based on the concept of tri hita karana Perumnas Monang Maning, and ( 3) Review the form - the form of application of the concept of tri hita karana on elements of abiotic, biotic and socio cultural environment Monang Housing Maning. In order to achieved its objectives, this research utilized a survey. The population of this study is the Hindu�s Family in the Perumnas Monang Maning. Sampling of respondents is taken proportionately based on the number of heads of households contained in the Banjar. using random sampling method, because the population is considered homogeneous. The analysis used is a combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results indicated that Perumnas Monang Maning residents have a good understanding of the Tri Hita Karana conceptBounded by their traditional villaege, residents have knowledge about the origin of THK by generations. Palemahan is an THK element that the condition is considered the most severe they are, among other elements. Vegetation conditions and the lack of a green space for the element Palemahan affect perceptions of the population. Related activities Palemahan element has the lowest participation rate compared to other elements. Implementation of THK concept in Perumnas Monang Maning neighbourhood can be found either on the element parhyangan, Pawongan and Palemahan altough there was a change and no longer have a real boundary. The limit of land and the presence of economic factors affecting the changes in the implementation of the THK elements of THK. As urban settlements inhabited by immigrants, there are no rules / awig-awig to apply, so application of THK THK based more awareness of preserving culture.
