Bandar Lampung, the capital of Lampung Province other than as a center of government, political science, education and culture, is also a center of economic activity,trade, industry and tourism products. Bandar Lampung has several tourist areas to be developed into tourist destinations. To determine the existence of industry and tourism potential of this area, needed a computer system to help collect data, store data, and analyzing geographic data along with the object that is important for analysis. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has been introduced in Indonesia since the mid-1980s and has developed a web-based GIS technology, particularly in the development of the Internet, and then by utilizing this technology will be creating a web that can provide a complete and detailed informationabout related to the tourism industry in question. Spatial data format used in this study is a vector data format for the object's position is recorded on the coordinate system of longitude and latitude after going through the process of digitization and conversion to ArcView GIS and the interface program by using PHP-MySQL. The results obtained trom webbased geographic information systems are information areas that have a tourism industry in the city of Bandar Lampung. Search areas that have the potential of web-based tourism industry in the city of Bandar Lampung can be done by entering a keyword in the form of tourism industry products and also areas that havepotential in this case is the municipality.
