| الملخص: | This research aims to analyze anatomy of conflict that occur on sand mining
activities in Gendol river. This study was performed using a deductive approach
and descriptive qualitative analysis. The differences in controling the financial
capital and technology between the miners was the beginning of the conflict in the
sand mining activities of Merapi. Regulation and retribution policy that made for
restructurize it was not effective due the lack of supervision of mining activities
from the government. It cause over-exploitation mining which led to the
vulnerability of the Merapi�s region due to the nature�s degradation and damage of
mitigation facilities caused by uncontrolled sand mining activities. Conflicts that
occur on sand mining Merapi can be solved with the strict supervision from the
government and active participation of the community related to the management
of natural resources |
