When the load changes,the needs for active and reactive power will change as well. This simulation aims to determine the effect of STATCOM installation in the event of changes in the load R and RL. STATCOM regulates voltage and absorb or supply reactive power. Simulations performed with Simulink in MATLAB 2011a. Simulations were carried out, among others, to determine the voltage stability and rotor speed stability during a process of change in the load on the parallel operation of synchronous generators and induction generators.
