الملخص: | Andong and becak were the traditional transportation maintened to operate in the Yogyakarta city espescially in Malioboro tourism areas. Aside from being a passenger tranportation, in Malioboro andong and becak were directed as tourist transportation to support a variety activities of tourist . The uniqueness and distinctiveness of andong and becak making it not only ordinary transportation but it was a part of fairly popular tourist attraction in Malioboro.
As one as the front liner of malioboro tourism industry, service quality of andong and becak need to be monitered to improve the service quality for tourist. This study aimed to explore the various tourist perceptions of andong and becak services from many aspects which include operational aspects, drivers services, the price to be paid and perceived satisfaction . This perception data obtained from questionnaires, and Internet content analisys that includes websites / blogs , social media and internet forums.
The results of related research to the perception of tourists about the andong and becak using the questionannaire showed that the services of andong in general get a good perception. Meanwhile, services of becak were at the level of mediocore perception.. The aspect of services that get the best perception were associated with the vehicle operation. While the aspect that get the lowest perception was related to the price paid. Based on the analysis of Internet content the prices to be paid also the most complained thing. Besides, there are also complaints about the behavior of the driver and vehicle services (especially for becak). |
