總結:The purpose of this task was to determine the method of waste management in Unit Pelayanan Teknis Daerah Balai Pengembangan Bibit Pakan Ternak dan Diagnostik Kehewananâ��s dairy farming, Pakem Sleman. Material in the form of cattle feces are processed into fertilizer, which was taken using a trowel and placed in the shelter with the help of the wagon box. Samples were taken from six wastewater ponds using buckets and stored in six bottles with a volume of 1.5 liters. Methods of data collection through direct practice, observation, and interview of ranchâ��s employees for activity, held on March 3 to 8, 2014. Samples from six pools of waste water tested by Laboratorium Kesehatan Yogyakarta. Feces of cattle processed into manure, which can be utilized as farmland fertilizer. Liquid waste is processed through ponds and deposition methods are built in series and then flowed into farm land. Results of laboratory tests showed decreased levels of BOD5 of 1242.31 mg/L to 428.89 mg/L. COD levels decreased from 2304 mg/L to 1152 mg/L, and TSS levels decreased from 640 mg/L to 240 mg/L. The end result of each parameter remained above Quality Standard by PERMEN LH. Based on the data obtained, it was concluded that the solid waste processing dairy farm UPTD-BPBPTDK is good enough, while treatment of wastewater is still not good.
