總結:Increasing numbers of people influence the increasing level of water demand. The villages need a source of water to daily needs. The source of water is easily found in the eastern Flank of Mount Merapi. Required hydrogeochemistry analysis for planning of groundwater management in locally and globally areas. It is used to avoid excessive groundwater exploration. Hydrogeochemistry and radio-isotopes analysis have been done to understand the characteristic of hydrogeochemistry, the age of the water, the located of recharge areas and the relationship hydrochemistry with the geology. The geological factor is used to understand physical properties of springs. The relationship elevation of spring and hydrogeochemistry shows the origin of aquifer system in the spring. Whereas, the character of hydrogeochemistry of the springs is different from upstream to downstream, they are Ca-Na-HCO3 (Volcanic Cone), Ca-HCO3 (Volcanic Slope), Ca-Mg-HCO3 (Volcanic Foot), and Ca-Na-Mg-HCO3 (Foot Volcanic Plain). The Value of TDS / EC is likely to increase from upstream to downstream, while the value of Tritium tends to decrease. Hydrochemistry have a close relationship with geological conditions is to connect the Morphology Zone and Hydrochemistry, while for lithology and geological units associated with anomalies including terms of recharge-discharge elevation. Based on tritium analysis show the age of Mount Merapi eastern flank groundwater is under 50 years old and there is one springs which have a lifes of over 50 years is Cokro. The located recharge areas in the western of research area is determined by Deuterium and O18 analysis.
