Summary:This study aims to assess the effectiveness of product marketing PT. Traktor Nusantara through innovative product development in the form of mechanization in order to meet the needs of the means of production in oil palm plantations. This is in line with the goal of Traktor Nusantara is to increase sales of its products based on the quality and quantity of which have a higher selling price than the existing competitors. Product innovation, besides mechanization can increase efficiency and productivity, it can also overcome the problems in the plantation land expansion from year to year tends to be more difficult. With this market opportunity, PT. Traktor Nusantara choose mechanization product strategy is an effective solution in the management of oil palm plantations. For products that are customized, trial was held on the PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, which is in a group with PT Traktor Nusantara under the auspices of the Astra Group. PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk has oil palm plantations spread across Indonesia that is expected with the successful implementation of this mechanization products, it can be referenced in the application of similar products in other plantations throughout Indonesia. Empirical research is experimental where as a principal author of the experimental development of the research object. From the beginning and throughout the process of data collection, the researchers attempted to collect data, verify and analyze it to find a theme to obtain exact results for the product development of mechanization as an appropriate strategy for PT Traktor Nusantara. Mechanization product test results conducted at PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk giving the fact that both the operational and cost, mechanized products can give better results or to increase productivity in the maintenance of gardens and crops. It can be concluded that the strategy of mechanization products Traktor Nusantara effective in providing the best value for the company, good for competition and create a competitive advantage of the company.
