الملخص:Based on SNI 1726-2002, Yogyakarta seismic zone is in zone 3 which had peak ground acceleration 0,15 g. Indonesia last seismic map that published in 2010, Yogyakarta peak ground acceleration had reached 0,3-0,4 g for 10% probability exceeded in 50 years, so the risk of damage of the building caused by earthquake have increases. Reoperated Ambarrukmo Hotel in 2011 for public service building should be researched with Performance Building Method with last codes. The objective for performance method is to know the performance level of a building with seismic probability 72, 475, and 2475 years based on last Indonesia seismic map. In addition of building performance, the effectiveness of retrofitting would need to be assessed in further research. the retrofitting has been done by consulting firm which are installation of grouting and CFRP (Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer) to increase strength capacity of beam. First step for this evaluation procedure was data collecting, which would be in the form of Detail Engineering Design Drawing, specification of structure material, etc. This Building modeled with SAP 2000 V. 11.0.0 (Structural Analysis Program) and analyzed with strength based design (linear analysis) and static non linear analysis. Linear seismic analysis for strength based design use response spectrum method to calculate seismic demand for the bulding with seismic probability 72, 475, and 2475 years. The result of this analysis to gain the deformation information of the building such as drift ratio, masonry deformation, and referenced beam capacity. Non-linear seismic analysis for performance based seismic design use pushover analysis method to gain the information of building performance level. Drift ratio and beam capacity was passed the requirement and satisfied for strength capacity which analyzed with linear analysis for 72, 475, and 2475 years seismic probability, so the objective of CFRP installation that presented by building consulting firm PT.Gistama to give the crack limitation and reduce the crack distribution. on the other hand non-linier analysis which have done with FEMA-356 method gave a different result for crack condition in 2475 years earthquake design level which performance level is D (>Collapse) and had a better performance level which is Life Safety for retrofitted building, this conclude that CFRP retrofitting contributed a better performance for the building, but the installation must be carried out correctly
