Child and family reaction to illness and adminttance to hospital or daily cara always in anxiety, stress and behavior changes for toddler (1-3 year) who had cared in hospital, anxiety respan more visible than pre school child. The respons were nuisance, denial of separated ti their parent, always carried on back, afraid to hospital environment. One of effectives method to care anxiety is playing therapy. The purpose of this study was to analyzed the effect of playing therapy to anxiety of toddler phase in child trofic room Dr.Soetomo general hospitalll Surabaya. It can be concluded that the intervention with playing therapy could maldaptive anxiety respons decrease to be adaptive respon on child with toddler phase that supported participation of family. Next could suggestion playing therapy abled to act with right method in child trofic room Dr Soetomo General hospital Surabaya
