Studies on the secondary metabolites from Artocarpus lanceifolia Roxb (Moraceae) had been carried out. From benzene extract of the tree bark of this plant , two flavonoid compounds had been isolated and identified as cycloartobiloxanthone and a new compound artoindonesianin C. The structure of the new compound was similar to that of artonin K, which had been found in the Artocarpus heterophyllus. Identification of the molecular structures of artoindonesianin C and cycloartobiloxanthone were carried out by UV, IR, <sup>1</sup>H-NMR , <sup>13</sup>CNMR spectroscopic techniques and comparison with authentic samples. <br />
