losses due to the land loss. To protect the riverbank from scouring and to restore the eroded riverbank, it needs to be built protection of the riverbank which is the groyne. The groynes is simulated at Lariang Riverbank using SMS 8.1 software by making eight alternatives in form of the groynes placement combination and river optimization. The best alternative would be chosen by means of optimization of the simulation results from technical terms and costs. A total of 15 groynes is designed with concrete block type (A-Jacks) and placed on outer bend of Lariang Riverbank <br />

which is the land belongs to PT. Lestari Tani Teladan. The groynes works well to decrease the flow velocity around the Lariang Riverbank until it is less than the <br />
<br />
maximum permissible velocity. |
