Nowadays, the computers do play more and more major roles in business, especially, in large organizations as Electricity Generation Authority of Thailand. This is because of the rapid growth of business section. The executives need more effective plannings and operations by ulitising of the controlled management as a tool to achieve the targets. The computer is the machine that can do every assigned jobs in such an incredible short period, by beginning with recordings of input data, classifying, concluding and reportings. There is also a system that can automatically control and work many functions from the same data input. The important things, in assigning the correct operations of a computer, are the corrections and prepared for ready to use of input data, orders and programs. By researching, studying from past experiences and inquiring from most of officers, who had passed the jobs, these include computer and inventory controls, it does appear that there are some reasons that effect the input data from provincial section to cause some obstructions. Those are when the data is reported to the Correspondence and Duplication Section, the address is not clear enough. Besides, the subsidiary of the provincial section does delay in reporting to the center of provincial section, these are the causes from geological communications and lackings of responsible officers on documentation. So, there are some clues to correct these deficiencies, but, do effect the inventory control, by improving the communications between the subsidiary and the center of provincial section including the training of the operators to entrance the importance of documentation on inventory control and others, by emphasizing that the delay in reporting will cause the delay in the operations of computer, and this, also, will cause the delay in accounting, respectively. In the future, it is anticipated that the accounting period would be shorter and shorter, may be every three months or every month. If there is no computer to assist the accountants, a large number of employees will be needed. Thus, increasing the cost of electricity. So, the computer will be the machine that collect every accounting input data with precision and at high speed, as desired, and will improve the effectiveness of every workers, from clerks to executives.
