總結: | The purposes of this research were to know 1) the structure and the policies of China Radio International in Thai Service and 2) the content of the radio programs that reflects the policies of CRI: Thai Service. The research methodologies are documentary research, in-depth interview and content analysis. The research found that CRI: Thai Service is managed by the government. However, the actual ownership and control comes from the Communist Party of China (CPC) by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee who controls all production processes; determines the policies of radio broadcasting, transmit the policies to the officer, controls the censorship of program s content, and also evaluates the feedback of the audience to improve a new policy. So that the officers of the Thai Service play just the practical officers role. The radio station, under the policy of CPC s international to propaganda in the form of public relations and to build an image to increase China-Thai co-operation and influence of China in South East Asia. The content analysis shows that there are political subjects intervened in news, news analysis, and documentary program. While economical, social, cultural and tourism subject are intervened in documentary, musical and Mandarin language teaching program. In conclusion, the content of CRI: Thai service is the reflection of policy of China especially political propaganda. |
