Transformasi Peta Pendaftaran Tanah Digital Dari TM-3° Ke UTM

This research was conducted to examine the distribution pattern of the difference between the areas of land parcels measured on the TM-3° BPN map and those measured on its transformed UTM map. The amount of 523 land parcel data samples are located at zone 49 of the UTM or zone 49.1 and zone 49.2 of the TM-3° in six cadastral offices spreaded over Central and East Java provinces. The TM-3° coordinate system is defined by inputting its parameters into the AutoCad Map 2000i software. Each data sample set was assigned to conform with its associated zone and then exported to produce MIF/ MID file in UTM coordinate system. The MIF/ MID files were imported into Mapinfo Professional software to produce files in Mapinfo format. In this Mapinfo format, the areas of land parcels on the transformed UTM map were digitally measured, from which its difference to the original areas on the TM-3° map were then deduced. COD of data sample set at zone 49.1 TM-3° was -0,1155154 % while COD of data sample set at zone 4d TM-3° was 3,5963 %. It was concluded that the difference between the areas of land parcel measured on the TM-3° cadastral map and those measured on its transformed UTM map followed the theoretical pattern of areas difference between the TM-3° and the UTM.
