Description
Summary:The change of Universitas Gajah Madas legal status from State-owned Agency (BHMN) to Public Service Agency (BLU) requires the university to carry out continuous adjustments. One of the adjustments is in the UGMs working units financial management. This, then, lead to the invention of an integrated web-based Financial Management Information System (Integrated SIMKeu) technology, implemented in UGMs working units in 2012 and has been carried out since. Nevertheless, obstacles and problems are still there and measures have been taken to resolve such challenge by improving both Integrated SIMKeu technology and financial management policy. Thus, this research aims to analyze the factors that are considered to have contributed in the acceptance intention of Integrated SIMKeu technology in UGMs working units. This acceptance intention is, in fact, the decisive factor in the merit of the implementation of Integrated SIMKeu technology in those working units. This is due to the fact that such success is also closely related to how the users of Integrated SIMKeu technology perceive such integrated technology itself. This study adopts research on Acceptance Technology Theory conducted by Chau and Hu in 2002. This study uses three contexts, namely Technological, Compatibility, and Individual, and five variables namely Compatibility, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude, and Perceived Technology Control is used to measure the acceptance level of Integrated SIMKeu technology in UGMs working units while Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to assessed the hypothesis.
