The report on the practice field contains on the filing system active records in Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi DIY. The purpose of this report is to understand the processing of managing active records in the Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi DIY. To obtain the data collected is observation, participant observation, interview, and literature. The active records in unit is fairly much, most of neat and some others are still messed up. The unity information still scattered with other records, so before filing the records, necessary to improvements and managing archival by: sorting records to determine whether the file is complete, determine the index, specify the code, cross point card making, labeling, storage and preparation of a list of files active archive. Structuring active records different in every field in the Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi. For example in the field of Transmigration system setup file using geographic systems, problems, classification codes, subject and alphabetically. Essentially each field has a different task with other fields, the system implemented vary according to the issue under its management. In the management of active records in the Office of the necessary patience and thoroughness, negligence can mess up a file storage and difficulty in re-invention.
