| الملخص: | This study is aimed to analyze the factors that may affect firm performance,
which are ownership structure, capital structure, and other firm characteristics on a
sample of 87 manufacturing firms listed in ISE (Indonesian Stock Exchange) between
2010-2012 resulting in 261 firm-year observations. Firm performance is measured by
return on asset, Tobin�s Q and Economic Value Added. Multiple regression and
logistic regression are used to analyze the data and to test the hypothesis. Results
from this study indicate that ownership concentration, institutional ownership,
foreign ownership, firm growth, and business risk has a positive and significant effect
on firm performance. The result also shows that leverage and tangibility has a
negative and significant effect on firm performance. Meanwhile, managerial
ownership, state ownership, and firm size has no significant effect on firm
