الملخص: | Background: Registration of outpatient patient with appointment can be done by calling via telephone or directly come to patient registration places with span time maximum one month before checkup and minimum one day before checkup. Patient with appointmentwill get information about doctors schedule. Beside that, patient that registry with appointmeny will get registration number immediately. Also, Patientâ��s medical record will directly searched by the employee, so in examination day patients didnâ��t have to wait their record to be search anymore.
Based on initial study in September 2013 and interview with Head of Medical Record and Health Information Bethesda Hospital, it is revealed that almost 50-60% outpatient patient that getting treatment at Bethesda Hospital is patient by appointment. In this appointment of patient by appointment system sometimes there are some patients that already sign up but then didn�t come on the examination day. This caused by many reason and certainly it affected efectivity grade from the patient registry system
Objective: Knowing the percentage of absence appointment patient and efectivity stage of registration patient by appointment in Internal Medicine Clinic at Bethesda Hospital Yogyakarta and knowing cause of absence the outpatient patient with appointment in Internal Medicine Clinic at Bethesda Hospital Yogyakarta.
Research Methode: This type of research is a descriptive study with qualitative approach and with phenomenology layout.Samples were taken was 100 outpatient patient by appointment in Internal Medicine Clinic that didn�t come to examination.Data collection technique is by questionnaire, interview, study documentation and observation. Data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification with validity test using source triangulation technique to Head of Medical Record and Health Information at Bethesda Hospital Yogyakarta.
Results:Efectiveness of patient by appointment in Internal Medicine Clinic at Bethesda Hospital Yogyakarta is already effective. It shows from low precentage of absence that is 38,816% and high effectiveness grade that is 61,183% and patientssatisfication percentage is 90 %. |
