總結:Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) technology is a wireless communication for short to medium distance range on dedicated frequency spectrum. DSRC device utilizing in vehicle is proposed to decrease the number of accident by making a possibility of vehicles in certain distance to share information to each other. The physical layer of DSRC applies the IEEE 802.11p standard which uses the othogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). For its lots of advantages, OFDM is often used in communiaction technology. Implementation of transmitter and receiver of OFDM is feasible by using IFFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) and FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) computation. This research is done by designing a receiver model Of OFDM on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) Xilinx Spartan-3E using the VHDL (Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language). The simulation results show that an FPGA with bigger resource is required for implementing the design. But an alternative design of a smaller FFT can be implemented on the FPGA Xilnx Spartan-3E.
