Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya is a cultural tourism object in Palembang which can support Palembang as Land of Sriwijaya that written in document PP RI No. 50 in 2011, which regulates about masterplan of national tourism development for 2010 until 2025. The citizen who has less interest to visit Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya become a problem. Because of those reasons, this research�s aims are to a) identify Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya condition as a tourist destination in Palembang, b) know the direction of Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya development based on tourists�satisfaction level, c) analyze the constraints and superiorities to develop Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya. This research focused on attraction, access, amenity, promotion, and sapta pesona as the components of tourist destination. This research using survey research method with quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data which collected by using questionnaire, reflect the respondents� satisfaction level. Qualitative data, which collected using in depth interview, was in depth data about Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya and about some opinion of the respondents. Data analyst in this research is descriptive analyst which completed by graphs, tables, and pictures. The result of this research shown that Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya has two attractions which are Sriwijaya Museum and the park. The road and public transportation are not in good conditions. The amenities are food outlet and souvenir outlet. The promotions are through leaflet and social media. Sapta Pesona which effected by Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Taman Wisata dan Budaya Kerajaan Sriwijaya as the part of government who manage Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya. the development priority of Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya would be better focus on access because this component has the lowest tourists�satisfaction level. The constraint in Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya is lack of cooperation between steakholders (citizen, government, and investor). Superiorities that Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya has are location where nearby some other destinations, more controlled management, and building structure like canal which can increase attractiveness of Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya.
