This study is a case study conducted at a state-owned company engaged in the Cement Mine in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the principles of corporate governance (GCG) in the company. On the principle of good corporate governance (GCG), there are the principle of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness. This study is built on the basis that the application of the company's corporate governance within the company has a good management. The main research question of this study is how the company conducts application of the principles of good corporate governance as one of the keys to success for a growing and profitable company in the long run, while winning global business competition, especially in the company of this research has been able to grow as well as a public company. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, questionnaires, data were analyzed using descriptive methods. These results indicate the existence of an important role between the principles of good corporate governance in the company, where the application of the principles of good corporate governance and the company believed would help the country's economy. In addition to the results of this study show that the motivation of the company is to carry out the principles of good corporate governance as a whole, meet the expectations of stakeholders, gain legitimacy, and won the award.
