Land resources is nature resources which is very important for human living because it can be used by human for agriculture activities. This research aims to understand the land resources which is exist so it can be used maximally and it can be used better for agriculture activities by still keeping the land from the damage. This research conducted in Kebumen regency which is located geographically at 7°27' - 7°50' South Latitude and 109°33' - 109°50' East Longitude, and it was conducted on March 2013. The evaluation of the land resources used map data which was processed by using SIG with ArcGIS 10 software program. The result of overlay 3 maps were administration map, land-kind map, topography map formed 41 SPL, then land utilization directive map was made appropriately to PP nomor 26 tahun 2008 about National RTRW, it was overlay from SPL (topography map and land-kind map) with rain precipitation map produced 4 criterions that were protection area 18.072 ha (14,1%), supported area 45.584 ha (35,6%), annual plant cultivation area 8.059 ha (6,3%), and seasonal plant cultivation area 56.396 ha (44,0%).
