الملخص: | Strategy is one of important thing in corporate management because it define
how the corporate will act to achieve its goal as defined in the corporate vision and
mision. A wrong strategy formulation will lead to a fatal impact, so the correct
analysis before defining the proposed strategy is a must.
TELKOM Group as a corporate is one of telecommunication industry player in
Indonesia. The high intensity of competition in Indonesia telecommunication industy
have forced TELKOM Group to compete using the appropriate strategy. The right
strategy is expected to sustain TELKOM Group�s competitive advantage in not only
short term but also long term.
The TELKOM Group strategy can be firstly formulated by analyzing
telecommunication industry in Indonesia. BCG Matrix is one of the analyzing tool
that can be used to determine the TELKOM Group relative position of its competitor
in the telecommunication industry. The result of such analysis can be used later to
formulate appropriate strategy in detail, adjusted with TELKOM Group resources
and recent condition. |
